Sridharan Sriram Joins Chennai Super Kings as Assistant Bowling Coach

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have appointed Sridharan Sriram as their assistant bowling coach for the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. He will be part of an experienced coaching staff led by Stephen Fleming (head coach), Michael Hussey (batting coach), and Eric Simons (bowling consultant).

Sriram has played 8 ODIs for India and has IPL experience with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC). With a coaching career spanning over a decade, he has worked as Australia's spin bowling coach and served as a technical consultant for Bangladesh. In the IPL, he has been associated with RCB, DC, Punjab Kings (PBKS), and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

At CSK, Sriram will focus on the spin department, which includes Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Shreyas Gopal, and Noor Ahmad.

CSK's IPL 2025 season begins with a home match against arch-rivals Mumbai Indians on March 23.
