Milind Kumar and Nosthush Kenjige secure record-breaking win for USA

Milind Kumar's all-round show and Nosthush Kenjige's best spell of 5 for 11 secured a record-breaking victory for USA over Oman in the final ODI of the tri-series. USA defended the lowest ODI total ever in a full men's ODI, bowling out Oman for 65.

  • USA's batting woes continue: Shakeel Ahmed dismissed Smit Patel early, continuing his poor form. Harmeet Singh showed some enterprise but fell soon. Monank Patel, Andries Gous, and Sai Teja Mukkamalla also failed to make an impact.

  • Milind Kumar holds the innings together: Milind Kumar played a crucial knock of 47 off 82 deliveries, using his experience to navigate the turning wicket. Aaron Jones, Sanjay Krishnamurthy, and the tail were dismissed cheaply.

  • Oman's top order collapses: Oman captain Jatinder Singh fell early, victim to USA's fielding. Hammad Mirza and Hashir Dafedar struggled before Yasir Mohammed's leg-spin broke the stand. Sufyan Mehmood followed, and Oman lost their last seven wickets for 15 runs.

  • Kenjige shines with the ball: Nosthush Kenjige took 5 wickets in 18 deliveries, leading USA's bowling charge.

This victory helped USA top the World Cup League 2 points table with 22 points, followed by Oman at 18 points.
