DC, UPW hunt middle-order contributors

Both the Delhi Capitals (DC) and UP Warriorz (UPW) have had mixed results in the Women's Premier League (WPL) so far. In their most recent matches, UPW lost to the Gujarat Giants, while DC suffered a defeat against defending champions RCB. However, DC has the upper hand in the head-to-head record, winning three out of four matches.

The middle-order of both teams has struggled to perform in the tournament. For UPW, skipper Deepti Sharma scored 39, while Tahlia McGrath, Grace Harris, and Shweta Sehrawat managed only 20 runs combined in their first match. DC, on the other hand, lost eight wickets for just 49 runs against MI and collapsed from 60/1 to 141 all out against RCB.

The bowling attacks of both teams are unlikely to change, despite DC's struggles in their last match. With both teams underperforming in the death overs, the middle-order of each team will need to step up to finish the Vadodara leg on a high note.
