Jacob Duffy added to NZ squad for ODI tri-series in Pakistan
New Zealand have included fast bowler Jacob Duffy in their squad for the ODI tri-series in Pakistan. The 30-year-old will serve as cover for Lockie Ferguson, who is currently playing in the ILT20 that runs till February 10.
Duffy was impressive in the recent T20I series against Sri Lanka, claiming 12 wickets from five games and winning the Player of the Series award. He will join the ODI squad on Monday.
New Zealand will play two ODIs in Lahore, against Pakistan (February 8) and South Africa (February 10), and potentially the final in Karachi (February 14) if they qualify. They have an official Champions Trophy warm-up game against Bangladesh on February 16 in Karachi before the first game of the ICC event on November 19 against Pakistan.
