Harmanpreet, Renuka rested for India-Ireland ODI series

The Indian women's cricket team will face Ireland in a three-match ODI series, with Harmanpreet Kaur and Renuka Thakur rested for the series. Shafali Verma and Pooja Vastrakar remain sidelined due to injury and rehab, respectively.
Smriti Mandhana will lead the 15-member squad, with Deepti Sharma as her deputy. Harmanpreet had missed two T20Is against West Indies due to a knee niggle and has been given rest for the ODI series. She played through the 2022 ODI World Cup with a shoulder niggle.
Tejal Hasabnis returns to the squad after being dropped since her debut against New Zealand in October 2022. Arundhati Reddy and Radha Yadav remain sidelined. Raghvi Bisht and Sayali Satghare have been recalled to the squad.
Pratika Rawal retains her spot in the squad after making 134 runs in three innings in her ODI debut series. India is currently placed third in the ICC Women's ODI Championship 2022-25 standings, while Ireland is last in the 10-team table.
The three ODIs will take place at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot on January 10, 12, and 15.
