Bangladesh batter Soumya Sarkar has been ruled out of the third T20I against West Indies due to a finger injury.
Sarkar injured his right index finger while attempting a catch in the seventh over of the West Indies innings and did not take any further part in the match.
The southpaw is expected to miss a couple of games in the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League, scheduled to start from December 30.
Sarkar suffered a finger injury during the second T20 International against the West Indies in St. Vincent today. An X-ray revealed a subluxation in the affected area. His recovery may take about three to four weeks.
