India in Trouble After Top-Order Collapse
India's top-order batsmen failed to deliver as they were reduced to 22 for 3 on the third morning of the Brisbane Test. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli were all dismissed for single-digit scores.
Mitchell Starc was the main destroyer, accounting for Jaiswal and Gill with two wickets. Starc's second delivery dismissed Jaiswal, while Gill was caught at gully by Mitchell Marsh after being unable to get his balance right.
Kohli's 16-ball stay ended in a familiar manner as he went after a Hazlewood ball and feathered an edge to the 'keeper.
Australia's Innings Recap
Australia added 40 runs to their overnight score of 405 in a little over an hour before India took the last of the three remaining wickets. Alex Carey completed a 53-ball half-century with a well-swept boundary off Ravindra Jadeja.
Jasprit Bumrah took his sixth wicket of the innings, taking his Test tally in Australia to 50 wickets, a feat only Kapil Dev had achieved for India before.

India 22/3 (Mitchell Starc 2-11) trail Australia 445 (Travis Head 152, Steve Smith 101, Alex Carey 70; Jasprit Bumrah 6-76) by 423 runs.
