Seales bowled three consecutive maidens on Day 1, followed by three more in his opening burst on Day 2. His third maiden of the day brought a wicket as he dismissed Litton Das. Shamar picked up his third wicket after drinks, dismissing the set batter Shadman Islam.

Nahid Rana was reintroduced after Tea and consistently hit the 150 kmph mark. He managed to get Mikyle Louis to edge to the 'keeper. However, he could not find a second breakthrough as Brathwaite scored two consecutive boundaries off him in an 11-run over.
