Travis Head on facing Jasprit Bumrah and the upcoming Adelaide Test

Travis Head is confident that he can carry his form into the upcoming Adelaide Test, having played all his domestic cricket on this ground. He believes that knowing the conditions well will work in his favour, particularly with the shorter square boundaries.

Head named Jasprit Bumrah as one of the greatest fast bowlers of all time, admitting that he has been a challenge for the home side. He plans to focus on his mental preparation and look for cues to counter Bumrah's bowling.

The hosts were heavily outplayed in the Perth Test, but Head believes that the loss was not as painful as a closer margin would have been. He attributes the loss to in-game mistakes and is looking forward to moving on and discussing the upcoming Test.

The absence of Josh Hazlewood will be a significant loss, but Head is confident that the team has enough quality to trouble the Indian batters. He praises Brendan Doggett, one of the replacements for Hazlewood, for his exceptional A-series performance and believes that he will adapt well to the pink ball.

Head's key to success will be his mental preparation and ability to execute his game plan against Bumrah. He is in a good space and feels that he can make a significant impact in the upcoming Test.
