Coetzee out of second SL Test and series against Pakistan

Gerald Coetzee, the South Africa pacer, has been ruled out of the second Test against Sri Lanka due to a groin injury sustained in the first Test. He underwent scans and the report revealed a right groin muscle strain.

The recovery period needed for Coetzee is four to six weeks, which means he could also miss the start of SA20. South Africa have added pacer Kwena Maphaka to the squad for the second Test against Sri Lanka in Gqeberha, which begins on December 5. South Africa lead the two-match series 1-0.
