The West Indies will be without senior allrounder Stafanie Taylor for their upcoming tour of India, as she continues her injury rehabilitation. The tour consists of three T20Is and three ODIs, with the same squad selected for both formats.

Deandra Dottin returns to the ODI squad, having reversed her international retirement earlier this year. Fast bowler Shabika Gajnabi and wicket-keeper Rashada Williams also make their comeback, after missing the T20 World Cup in October.

Head coach Shane Deitz emphasized the need for consistent high-level performance, as his side reached the semifinals of the T20 World Cup. He also highlighted the importance of exposure for the players in front of Indian IPL teams, with the last white-ball series in India being played eight years ago.

Tour schedule:

  • T20Is: December 15, 17, 19 at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai
  • ODIs: December 22, 24, 27 at a venue in Baroda
