Bangladesh Batter Hridoy Urges Team to Focus on Present

Hridoy has called on his teammates to stay in the present as Bangladesh begins their preparations for the Champions Trophy 2025 with the upcoming ODI series against Afghanistan.

Preparations for the Champions Trophy

Bangladesh's preparation for the Champions Trophy will take place over a period of three matches against Afghanistan and three against the West Indies.

Focusing on the Present

As Bangladesh face a challenging tour, Hridoy has urged his teammates to forget their recent defeats and focus on taking it one match at a time.

"We cannot think about the past, we must forget what has happened recently. It's normal that people have high expectations, but every cricketer does not play well in every match," he said.

Batting Order and Preparation

Hridoy has expressed his willingness to bat anywhere in the order, but stressed that it is a team decision. With the absence of Litton Das and Shakib Al Hasan, the batting order may change.

Hridoy also spoke about the challenges posed by Afghanistan's spinners, but believes Bangladesh can handle them. "We will plan according to our opponent, and we will try to handle them," he said.

Off-Side Game

In response to criticism of his off-side game, Hridoy stressed that players from other countries can also dominate through a single area.
